Mid-State Literacy Council, Inc.

The Mid-State Literacy Council, founded in 1971, provides the opportunity of education for the 13% of Centre County residents who need essential skills. Trained volunteers provide reading, writing, computer, English, and math instruction one-on-one and in classes to adults who need basic literacy skills to navigate daily activities, obtain employment, and access healthcare. Because of our community's support, adults can improve their lives and uplift their children and grandchildren.
