Give Where I Live Prize

Between now and May 4, 2026, your organization can be in the running for a $1,000 Give Where I Live Prize! Encourage your supporters to share an “I Give Where I Live” selfie on social media to help spread the word about why they support your work.

Here’s how supporters can participate:

  1. Download the “I Give Where I Live” sign HERE and have them write in your organization.
  2. Post a photo holding the sign to a personal Facebook or Instagram account.
  3. Answer the question, “If you had $1,000 to donate on May 6 & 7, which participating organization would you give it to and why?”
  4. Use #CentreGives2026 and #IGiveWhereILive so we can find the post.

Planning tip for organizations: Each social media account counts as one entry. While you’re encouraged to promote and share supporter posts, multiple posts from your organization’s own account do not increase entries. The strongest strategy is encouraging broad, authentic participation from your supporters.

Centre Gives Events

Centre Gives Fest has been a meaningful space for connection and celebration—especially for smaller and emerging organizations—the final hours of Centre Gives are also the most critical for fundraising success. By shifting away from an in‑person event during that window, Centre Foundation aims to ensure your team can stay focused on donor outreach and maximizing campaign impact. Centre Foundation remains deeply committed to fostering connection and collaboration, and we encourage you to stay tuned for details as we announce meaningful networking and celebration opportunities in the year ahead, outside the critical giving window.

Is your organization hosting an event during Centre Gives?

If your organization is hosting an event during Centre Gives on May 6 or 7, tell us about it! The deadline to submit your event is 5:00 pm on Wednesday, April 29. If you have questions, contact Krista at krista@centrefoundation.org or call (814) 237-6229.

New: Exploring Collaborative Events During Centre Gives

A participating organization recently shared an idea about collaborating with other nonprofits to co‑host events during Centre Gives. Given the interest, we’re trying out a simple way for organizations to connect directly with one another to explore potential partnerships.

This optional opportunity is designed for organizations that may want to pair complementary strengths—such as audiences, space, volunteers, or promotional capacity—to increase their visibility during Centre Gives. Centre Foundation is providing the space to connect, but organizations coordinate any partnerships directly.

How it works: Organizations can post a brief description of an event or collaboration idea, and browse opportunities shared by others.

The April 29 deadline for submitting Centre Gives events still applies. This partnership board is simply an additional, optional way for organizations to connect as planning continues in these final weeks.
