Veterans Assistance Fund of Centre County

The Veterans Assistance Fund, a 501(c)(3) non-profit fund, was created to assist Centre County (PA) Veterans in their time of need. The fund provides financial assistance to qualified Centre County Veterans. The Veterans Assistance Fund Committee will determine eligibility for the fund through an application process. Since its founding, the Veterans Assistance Fund has provided substantial assistance to veterans and the widows/families of veterans in need. Our administrative costs amount to less than 4%, meaning over 96% of funds raised go directly to assisting veterans in our community. Approximately 34% of funding goes toward housing assistance, 33% toward fuel and utilities, and the remainder being used for real estate taxes, car repairs, medical bills and other items as approved by the committee.
