About Centre Foundation

Behind the Scenes of Centre Gives

Molly Kunkel and Martha

The idea of Centre Gives was the brainchild of Centre Foundation’s Executive Director, Molly Kunkel. She launched the program in 2012 and has overseen its growth as it has become the community’s favorite fundraising event! Her dog, Martha, is the unofficial mascot of Centre Gives and keeps the team’s morale up as the 36 hours of the event draw to a close.

Irene Miller

You can find Irene Miller passing out stickers, making things green, hashtaging #CentreGives on social media, and being an overall Centre Gives enthusiast. She has three years of Centre Gives experience and enjoys sharing best practice strategies with organizations, as well as spreading the word about Centre Gives in the community.

Carrie Ryan

Carrie Ryan joined Centre Foundation’s team in 2014 and is indispensable during Centre Gives time, as she oversees all the financial aspects of the program. For organizations, that means making sure the checks are distributed after the event ends. Donors can thank Carrie for making sure donations easily and accurately flow to the organizations they choose to support. Carrie’s work brings smiles to everyone!

Ashley Pipe and Lauren Petrone

Ashley Pipe and Lauren Petrone are well-known to the many staffers whose organizations participate in Centre Gives. These ladies handle everything from the application process, Success Series trainings, all inquiries, and making sure those checks find their way to each hardworking organization! They are also part of the social media marketing team, creating the shareable gifs, memes, and videos that make Centre Gives so special and fun!
